Essential information written by Key Stage 3 SATs, GCSE and AS Level examiners, presented as bullet points and concise notes with key points highlighted to aid revision. Covers all the topics needed for every syllabus and written especially for 2001 exams. The notes include examiners tips to ensure important information is highlighted, and less formal student tips offering suggestions on where extra marks can be gained. Letts revision notes help condense course content into the essential points but also offer exam practice and each topic is followed by a short test so that students can monitor their progress. The books also have internet support available from Letts website. For every topic there is available a topic test on the website that allows students extended practice in examination style questions.

This book will not allow you to get high grades at AS level
The guide does not cover the course in the detail needed to get high grades. It covers the basics and does not help understanding and doesnt go into enough detail for you to get full marks in questions, even if you learnt it off by heart. I would strongly recommend the Heinman revision guide which has everything in it you need, I would even say that you don't need your notes. If your looking at getting the Lett's guide in place of your notes, DON'T.
A book for grade C candidates.
This book is fantastic if the time you have to revise chemistry is limited because it is clear and concise giving only the basics ensuring you pick up the easy marks in your AS exams. However , it skims over other parts which you pick up the big marks for. Also it lists what you need to know for your exam board and despite claiming to be up to date alot of the labels are wrong. My advice: STICK WITH YOUR CLASS TEXTBOOKS AND NOTES
This book is essential for quick Chemistry AS Revision
This book is clear & concise, & is perfect for "day before the exam" revision. It helps tremendously! I don't think I would of survived my January AS Module without it (Or a lest not done as well as I did!)
