Customer Reviews
Ok but very basic.
I ordered this book a couple of days ago as I've been a vegetarian for 2 years but eat out an awful lot and wanted to start cooking at home. I'd recommend this book for very young people or for parents who have young vegetarians in the family. Even though I don't cook much, most of these "recipes" I could have thought up myself such as "grilled pink grapefruit", "nachos" and other very basic meals.
The other downside to this book is that there's no information about the calorie or fat content to each of the recipes. And for a book which entitles itself "Healthy" Vegetarian cookbook, I was hoping for a bit more.
On the plus side, most of these recipes have ingredients which you'll already have in your fridge so there's no stop offs at specialty food stores. And again, if you've got young vegetarians in the family, these recipes are very user friendly and easy to follow.
