About the Author
Andrew Matthews has written numerous books for children and teenagers, and is an internationally renowned author. He wrote King Arthur and Wolf Summer for the Orchard list, as well as a series of retellings of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales. Andrew has been short-listed twice for the Smarties Award. He lives in Berkshire. Tony Ross is one of the most highly regarded children's book creators/illustrators in Britain. For Orchard he illustrated the Greek and Roman Myths books in the Orchard Myths range, and the hilarious One and Only series by Laurence Anholt, as well as the poetry collection Balloon Lagoon. Tony lives in Wales.

Brush up your Shakespeare
I bought this book to introduce my young son to Shakespeare and he thoroughly enjoyed it. It is worth noting that if any grown ups wish to introduce themselves to a Shakespeare play that they are not familiar with, this range is an ideal place to start.
Great Book For Very Young Kids
My children were going to see their first Shakespeare for Kids production of The Tempest. I wanted to read them something that would introduce them to the characters and the plot so they knew what was going on. Not only was this book fairly short, but there were little pictures of the characters and key scenes so it was easy for my 6 and 5 year olds to follow. I would totally recommend this book - it makes the plot so simple and understandable for the wee ones.
