Very useful quick reference
As a supply teacher I have found this book brilliant to take to schools in my survival kit.It contains all the terms and explanations in funny and simple language which is great.A lifesaver just before the dreaded SATS.
OK but not as good as the CGP Study books
Having bought the complete set of CGP Study books and Tricky bit books with hindsight I would only have bought the Study book series as the majority of the work in the Tricky Bits books is duplicated in the Study books but the Study books have the advantage of Question and Answer sections which is more helpful.
The language used is not brilliant, quite a lot of slang but it does lighten the mood and I guess is more fun to a youngster than a serious boring book.
Combine the Study books with a complete set of practice SATS papers (question and answers included) and you are sure to help your child.
