About the Author
Richard Walker was a professional storyteller who told his tales at a variety of venues from folk festivals, schools and theatres to private homes. He was also a freelance broadcaster and editor of Fact and Fiction, the storyteller's magazine. Richard Hope is a British TV actor who starred in ITV's MIT: Murder Investigation Team as DS Barry Purvis, as well in a number of other dramas like BBC1's A Touch of Frost, and ITV's Heartbeat and Poirot. Olwyn Whelan worked as a newspaper cartoonist and as a graphic designer before becoming a full-time freelance illustrator. She aims to produce timeless and classic books that children will treasure for life. Olwyn lives in Ireland with her husband, their two children, and her cat called Sleazy.

Fantastic
I am a BEd student on TP and have used this book so many times, the stories are so interesting and my pirate mad class of 7 and 8 year olds love them! The beautiful illustrations and a fantastic audio CD add to the magic of this wonderful addition to or library.
