Customer Reviews

Small book with nothing new3
I bought this book for pure escapism, to allow my mind wander to the wonderful world of girly glamour. It is a hardback book, that is quite small and really does not offer anything more than what one has read in various magazine articles about having a bubble bath and relaxing. Not enough bite in it for me!

Fun and frivolous... with some fantastic tips5
I loved this little book - it makes a great read in the bath when you're soaking up to your neck in bubbles dreaming of the glam, ritzy world you should rightly be inhabiting, but have somehow missed.

Its tone is fun and frivolous, but flicking through it again I noticed how many practical tips it also contains, such as in the 'glamour for free section' which suggests:
step out with confidence and set off for a jewellery shop - preferably one that looks dangerously expensive. Look, and better still, try on withot buying - very Breakfast at Tiffany's.'

I wouldn't say all of the tips were do-able, but most of them are. It's all about making yourself feel (and look) confident, stylish and totally ravishing!

Its a short book, but one I'll pick up in future to flick through and read odd bits, just to cheer myself up, to remind me I can do something about feeling grungy, unsexy and unfashionable.

Some Good Tips And Advice For Glamour Girls5
I got this for christmas and was expecting something really fabulous and some girly advice on how to be glamourous and gorgeous. It was exactly that. It has some really great tips on how to look after yourself, and what handbags you should buy, plus what you should wear on holiday and taking inspiration from old movie stars like Marilyn Monroe and Sophia Loren. It even has tips on how to dress to seduce...an essential guide for any girl I think. Usually, I'm not one of these girls that are neat and organised and always has the right clothes to wear...but my advice is not take all of the advice, just take some what's relevant to you.
Good luck girls xxx
