Product Description
While Germany was fielding the most advanced tanks and aircraft in the world, on the vast steppes of the USSR the German Army and Waffen-SS were still sending large units of horsed cavalry into battle -as were their Italian, Hungarian and Rumanian allies and their vassal armies of Cossacks and Kalmyks. This title describes and illustrates in detail this apparent historical anomaly, one of the forgotten chapters of World War II.
