Very disappointing
I bought this book after reading a couple of reviews on this website and also on others. I have long hair myself that is too difficult to style but I do style other people's hair and wanted to improve on my technique and try out different styles.

When I received this book, I have to say that I was very disappointed. I found it to be very amateurish, aimed more at the teenage age-groups. I also found the stories about the 'friends' and their hair situations to be completely pointless and imagine that they were only included to add more pages to the book.

If you want a book on actual hairstyles, I fully recommend 'Great Hair: Elegant styles for every occasion' by Davis Biton. (They're not exactly elegant, more chavvy, but they will improve your techniques). Certainly don't waste your money on this one.

The best hairstyling book about!!
I loved this book. It noy only explains things like colouring and face shapes but it gives loads of styles to try. Some are a bit weird but they are forgiven as the rest of the book is excellent. I recommend this to anyone who wants to re-do their image or just wants a fun girly read. As well as the info their is a continuous story following four friends. You instantly love these girls as they are fun, happy and they seem real and you can connect with them. The story is also well written as the girls are just like your own friends. This book made me realise how to style my hair and how to look after it. Buy it!!
