Anne Adeney has had varied careers all over the world including being a housemother to 45 Eskimo, Indian and Settler children in Northern Labrador, an occupational therapist and an award winning toy-maker and designer. She is the author of a number of books for young children and a Sunday school teacher. She loves to read and retell her favourite Bible stories, many of which appear in The Biggest Bible Storybook. She lives in Plymouth with her husband, four daughters and a loopy dog. Ruth Rivers was bought up in the East Midlands. She almost dropped art aged fourteen as she wanted to be a vet. Luckily she was persuaded to continue and went on to study Graphic Design at Exeter College of Art and Design. She spent a number of years in advertising, but has always been interested in illustrating children's books. The Biggest Bible Storybook is her first book for Orion and the first book in which all her artwork has been digitally prepared. She lives in London.
