Brilliant Book5
I've actually worked with Peter Callaghan as a TA in some of his lessons at Pershore. This book is a primary text for my PGCE course and covers everything you'd need and gets you thinking about the demands of teaching science, making the lessons fun and helping the learners make sense of the information they are given. Well worth buying!

A very useful read4
One of our suggested course books for ITT at Hallam uni and i have to say it's very useful, easy to read and a lots of ideas.
