Excellent for getting your math skills up to scratch
I bought a similar book, in order to get practicing for some numerical tests and I wasn't getting anywhere. As a result I bought this book and I went through three chapters in 2 hours and felt confident my newly acquired knowledge was there to stay. Very easy to understand, well explained. It provides worked out examples and gives explaination along the way. Brilliant for those who have done maths at school and haven't practiced maths since. I would recommend it to anyone.

Just the job
Although the sats do not now apply, I got this book to help make certain that my son covered the course work required at this stage. Excellent.
