Customer Reviews
A good cookbook for a beginner
I would thoroughly recommend this easy to read and easy to follow teaching cookbook for anyone starting out trying to learn to cook from scratch. The recipes are all beautifully illustrated, with only the essential ingrediants and nothing too intricate to avoid confusion and expense, with a calorie counter for every recipe,a simple to understand teaching style, and extra tips and variations to a theme. The easy to clean, fold over cover is very helpful in a kitchen. The recipes are easy to prepare and delicious, and in this book I can thoroughly recommend the puddings section in which even I found that I could succeed with at least half a dozen recipes. This book beats even Delia, for a beginner, and I would not go anywhere else for learning to cook from scratch. The whole easy to make series is excellent and at a very reasonable price.
One Pot Helper
