This well-written book is a good introduction to the subject of Egyptian myths ... Stephen Lambert’s pastel drawings cleverly use the colours of the desert to conjure up a feel for the ancient land and its people.

About the Author
Robert Swindells is a prestigious children's author. He has won a number of awards for his books, including twice the Children's Book Award as well as the Carnegie Medal for his novel Stone Cold, which has been adapted for television by the BBC. Robert lives in Yorkshire. Stephen Lambert is a well-known illustrator who trained at Lincoln College of Art. His Nobody Rides the Unicorn was short-listed for the Smarties Award. Stephen lives in Cornwall.
