Average customer review:Product Description
This new edition of AS Law has been fully updated in order to meet the requirements of the most recent changes to the specifications of both AQA and OCR examination boards. This book is tailored to the new four-module specifications for both AQA and OCR (although also suitable for the existing six-module specifications). It includes a new chapter on Contract as part of the section on The Concept of Liability. Its coverage of recent legal changes includes the effects of the Constitutional Reform Act 2005, especially concerning appointment of judges and the role of senior officers, such as the Lord Chancellor; reform of the powers of the police; and, recent statutes and cases particularly useful in preparing for questions involving judicial precedent and statutory interpretation. The authors are experienced teachers, writers and examiners for AS/A-level law.

Customer Reviews
great for first time users of English law!
As an AS law student, I can relate to how over-whelming a lot of A level Law textbooks appear. But this is one of the most user friendly books i have come across that covers enough material to help students through the exam (trust me, I've looked!). In fact, this book is excellent just to refer to for general knowledge of the subject with clear, simple explanations of terms and policies and humerous illustrations.
Recommended
This books contains infomation which probably goes beyond that required at AS level, however I definitely recommend it, because once the basic concepts have been grasped and understood, this puts a little bit of meat on the bones.
To the Point
This book was splendid as it was to teh point, easy to read in clea-cut English, and explained everythign extremely well. A must for all AS Law Students.
