HMS Renown5
A very good book with the right for me mix of history and stories of the crew. I have never read a book dedicated to the Renown only come across her in other stories of world war two, she was always overshadowed by the Hood and what happened to her sister Repulse. I wanted to read a book about the Renown when I came across a story I did not no of, when the Renown met the two light german battleships Sharnhorst and Gneisenau and the german ships turned and ran from the old first world war veteran. I enjoyed the book even though I knew it still saddened me when she went for scrap after the war.
