About the Author
Viv Ellis was a faculty curriculum coordinator in an 11-18 community school before joining the University of Brighton, where he designed and led a new secondary ITT course. He is currently a lecturer at the University of Southampton and is researching the transformation and deployment of trainee teachers' subject knowledge.
