great book
This is meant for watercolours, but some of the principles can also be applied for other mediums. Very sage advice and.. but naturellement... nice pictures.
Having said that, there are a few art tutorial books lurking out there whose pictures are so unredeemably awful, you kind of wonder. This, thankfully, is neither painting by chimpanzee or retired grandmother with colour blindness, but solid, observational, and well-achieved using English landscapes. Worth getting.
