Firing instructions are not included, but there is guidance on materials and where finished painted pieces can be fired. There is also a gallery of finished pieces, including plates, bowls, a frame and a beautiful Art Deco dish.

unimaginative
A very basic book.Regretted buying it - simply line drawings of basic flowers etc for pots lacking in imagination and the personal touch.

Great for ideas and patterns
I own a ceramic painting stuio and find this a great source of patterns. The first part of the book has a few painted ceramic projects to try with very good step by step instructions but the best part is the last 3/4 of the book which is just full of different and varied patterns. None outdated and old - japanese, egyptian, art deco, manga - loads of variety.
