Rumours and Lies
Although Bob Brunning has more access to inside information on Fleetwood Mac than most, being the original Bass player, this book doesn't really offer anything knew that we did not know already. The main source of information seems to be taken from a BBC documentary, celebrating 21 years of Fleetwood Mac. This program on the band is used for 90% of all quotes from the band in the book. Also infamous stories regarding the band are barely touched upon, for instance the alleged affair between Stevie Nicks and Mick Fleetwood, and the meeting in which Lyndsey Buckingham walked away from the band after Tango in the Night. The last 15 years of the band including th new album Say You Will only merit one chapter in the book, offering no real information. There is a great story to be told about Fleetwood Mac, unfortunately this book does not deliver it.
