About the Author
John Ash, who was born in Manchester in 1948, graduated from the University of Birmingham. He is an acclaimed poet and writer and has won a Guggenheim Fellowship, an Ingram Merrill Grant, a Whiting Foundation Writers Award, and an Anne and Erlo Van Waveren Foundation Award. He currently lives and works in Istanbul.
