Appeals to my 6 year old
This is a book which my 6 year old will ask me to read several nights in a row. Fun rhyming text. The things which amuse my son most are - counting down 3... 2... 1... then turning the page to see what happens when the rocket goes 'ka-boom' (the cat jumps out of it's skin and all sorts of objects are seen scattering far & wide). We also think it is quite funny when Edward uses bits from Daddy's car to build his rocket ship - and I whisper in my son's ear 'Sssh! Don't tell Daddy!' :-)
