This sequel to the enormously popular "Batman: Hush" storyline is now available in an all-new graphic novel! The crazed childhood friend of Bruce Wayne, known only as Hush, is planning a new assault on Gotham City - against the criminal fraternity as well as Batman himself. And how do the Riddler and Prometheus fit into his outlandish schemes? Meanwhile, Batman's arch-enemy the Joker is planning his own revenge against a figure from his own shadowy past...This gritty storyline has all the hallmarks of a classic "Batman" tale, with guest super-heroes galore, and is something that fans won't want to keep quiet about!

Customer Reviews
Mildly Disappointing
I was such a huge huge fan of the Hush books. Totally amazed me & for a long time Batman fan who’s read the lot & owns a lot of comics, for a comic to give me that buzz is really big thing. It happens once in a blue moon. So when I heard that Hush (possibly the most brilliant Batman villain? Unique. Deep. Relentless. Frightening?) was returning, I thought 'brilliant'. But I was left feeling pretty deflated when I finished reading Hush Returns. It just felt 'half finished'. The ending was disappointing... the break halfway through to 'fill the reader in on what’s just happened in the bits we couldn't be bothered to write' was terrible & although the artwork is stunning & the story had 'potential', I think its dangerous to tamper with a storyline of such high calibre as the original Hush books, unless you've got something truly groundbreaking to do with it... which unfortunately wasn't this book!
Poor
If you enjoyed Hush then you will be dissapointed with this poor attempt at a sequal, disjointed and unfinished in my eyes and a waste of my money and time, don't buy this....that is all I have to say.
Batman - Hush returns
Both copies of "Hush returns" i received fell apart in my hands upon opening them for the first time, needless to say they are being sent back the now.
As for the graphic novel it's self it is a complete disappointment, the book collects "Batman Gotham knights" #50-#55 and then for some reason beyond my understanding jumps from #55 to #66 with a single page of text inbetween to bridge the gap, a major flaw to this book in my opinion. The actual story has a horribly "slap - dash" feel to it and finishes un resolved all of this along side a barely interesting plot truely makes for a poor read.
Hush himself is a character i always found interesting form Jeff Loeb's "Hush" and Paul Dini's "Heart of Hush", but the Hush we get in this is totally different, most notably his atire, the bandages and trench coat remain but he is topless underneath. He uses one gun rather than two, and we get no mention of Aristotle or any of his quotes.
In other areas this book fails to score high, these include animation, the quality of the images in this barely compare to Jim Lee's.
To conclude i will advise that you stay clear of this as chances are it will fall apart in your hands and even if it dosent you wish it would, a total let down to Batman fans.
