Jim Gordon - This Is Your Life4
One of the things that makes Batman such an enduring phenomenon is the quality of the other main characters in his tales. This collection of short stories focuses on the relationship between Batman and Jim Gordon, probably batman's best friend (along with Alfred).

The stories are all written by experienced Batman authors and are of good quality throughout, although they lack the depth of longer stories for obvious reasons. They are based in various stages of Jim Gordons career working with Batman, and provide an interesting insight into the relationship between these two very different men with a shared purpose.

This book is probably of more interest to serious collectors of Batman graphic novels but I enjoyed it. I would compare it to other collections such as 'Tales Of The Demon', in that it fills in useful background details about a key character in the world of Batman

Good Insight into the Commish4
Short stories filling us in on the troublsome life of Jim Gordon. A good insight to a character that is not usally the main focus of the Book.
