"Fables" is the hugely imaginative story of a group of fairy tale characters exiled from their mythical homelands and forced into a secret existence in modern-day America. Featuring such familiar names as Snow White, Prince Charming and Bigby (formerly Big Bad) Wolf, this is hard-edged fantasy in the grand tradition of "The Sandman".As our world's Fables look on via a magic mirror, Flycatcher reveals his princely heritage and fearsome power, raising an army of the dead and setting up a haven in the Adversary's kingdom. Could this be the end of the war? Or a tragedy in the making?Volume ten of the award-winning fantasy series by Bill Willingham and regular artists Mark Buckingham and Steve Leialoha raises the stakes once more! It is intended for adults only!

Customer Reviews
Bill does it again!
I am a HUGE fan of the Fables series, and with each new book my expectations also grow. Bill Willingham is a GENIUS and Mark Buckingham's (along with all the other inkers) illustrations are beautiful to behold. The Good Prince takes this epic story to yet another level, and as ever leaves me wanting even more. What else can I say? No spoilers here - if you've never read any Fables I suggest you start at the beginning and read all the volumes - that's what I did (March of the Wooden Soldiers was my 'first' foray into Bill's world and the start of my love story with Fables). Thank you guys! xx
Fables - Good Prince
For those who love fairy stories and fables, this is the book for you, in fact, the whole series is a joy to read. The story of all the best known character being forced out of their lands by the evil Advisary and taking up life in our modern day world. It's the Brother Grimm with a seriously modern twist.Fables: Legends in Exile - Vol 01 (Fables)
