Doctor Who Storybook4
Firstly a quick word for the uninitiated, as with last year there are effectively two Doctor Who annuals published this year - the 'Doctor Who Annual 2008' is a cheap and nasty item padded out with pointless filler material and should be avoided unless you are under 5 years old, the 'Doctor Who Storybook 2008' however is an infinately more classy proposition, featuring 1 comic strip and 7 illustrated text stories, and will be appreciated by older fans.

As to the quality of this years Stoybook it isn't QUITE up to last years, but then it had a very high bar to reach. Still, if you're looking for a PROPER annual that will give you more than 5 minutes reading time, THIS is the one to buy!

Rory, Rory, tell us a story5
The second storybook after the relaunch of Doctor Who this is chock full of little gems by some of the programme's most accomplished writers. Beautifully presented with a variety of illustrations it is a great gift and a vital part of any child's (or adult's) Doctor Who collection. Mainly aimed at the 8-15 age range in terms of content and style.

Quirky, fun, imaginative and exciting5
Eight short, quirky Doctor Who and Martha adventures. All very imaginative with lots of science fiction ideas to make you ponder, and full of action and humour. Quite sad in away, as it makes you realise just how good a character Martha was before they ditched her prematurely. The illustrations are excellent, done in a variety of styles but all interesting and complimentary to the written word. I'm going to go back and get last years, I liked this one so much!
