Product Description
Understanding Environmental Law provides a straightforward, lucid overview of environmental law. It goes beyond traditional black letter exposition to offer a wider contextual understanding of the subject. The work discusses key issues concerning human society and the environment and looks at continuing challenges for environmental law and environmental lawyers. The bigger issues of universal concern, including those of securing sustainability and related questions of justice, are also considered. Understanding Environmental Law also examines essential aspects of the substantive law, addressing both public law and private law approaches, and in particular the nature and problems of environmental regulation. Significant key case law and statutory developments are covered.
