Wonderful!
A simple and wonderful book that really pulls at the heartstrings, especially if you are a mother. I'm giving it to my 2 year old daughter - she won't 'get it' for a few years yet but I hope she'll still have it when she's an old woman and re-read it and think of me. It's fantastic - a super gift for any new mum with a baby girl. I can't recommend it highly enough - and the illustrations are lovely too.
A must for all Mothers and Daughters
My daughter is nearly 13, and I have just bought this for her......
I bought it because it made me cry. It's a simple little book that connects directly to your heart, about being a Mum to your daughter. It would be nice to read to a little one, but better to give when they are a little older and "get it". Or a lovely present for a new mum.
Just make sure you give a box of tissues too......
Beautiful.
Bought for a pregnant friend as a celebration of their imminent birth, and when visiting I thought I should have a quick read....I immediately wished I had bought a copy for myself. Beautiful and yet, honest and sad.
