Customer Reviews
Very informative, some great photographs - a nice allrounder
This book is aimed at 10-14 year olds, but the only way you'd know is by the lack of in-depth geographical analysis of each of the 'wonders', and by the insides of the front and back covers which have puzzles for young teenagers in them. As the title suggests, there are 100 wonders - 1 per page, and Ingrid Cranfield's selection is not bad. I think it is mainly aimed at secondry school students, but it still makes a facscinating read in some places. It's hard to put down if you like nature. Contains canyons, mountains, forests, seas, geysers, icebergs - even auroras amongst other things. Only downer is that the information per page is not for the geologist or degree-level student, it just gives you the basic information you would want to know.
