Product Description

You probably think that everything that can be written about the "Carry On" films has been written. Morris Bright and Robert Ross certainly thought so and they are acknowledged experts on the films - consultants and advisors on official "Carry On" merchandising and Peter Rogers' biographers. But, to their own amazement, they were wrong. Delving through the original shooting scripts they found countless deleted scenes and an entire unfilmed script. Plus, many of the deleted scenes still existed as film stills. This book puts the unseen script material together with the unpublished photographs.

Customer Reviews

This is a very good book for Carry On fans5
This is a very welcome publication as the script of Again Nurse was very funny indeed , Norman Huddis had clearly written a comic gem . It was far better than the sub soft porn rubbish that was Behind , England and Emmannuelle . These Carry Ons were pretty lacklusture when compared to Cleo , Doctor , Up The Khyber and Dick .I know we are all better off wiith the power of hindsight but it would have surely been better had the series ended on a high with Again Nurse in 1988 , than at a low with the awful Colombus in 1992 .The Carry On team are irreplaceable , which is what this timely book reminds us of . So I hope that the original series coninues to make us all laugh for many years to come . Also it would be nice to some time have the Carry On Dallas script published as a book as it certainly sounds like a promising idea for a film . With Kenneth Williams as RU Screwing it could well have been superb .
