For anyone who choreographs dance from improvisation
I found this book invaluable during my performing arts degree as it offered practical advice to help you compose material and get past those tricky first improvisation stages. The style was accessible and informative, although perhaps at times a little patronising. This may however be of use to students at GCSE or A-level. I would strongly recommend this book to any dance students who have to embark on composition and choreography during their course.
