Average customer review:Product Description
This study of modern macroeconomics aims to do justice not only to fiscalism, monetarism and rational expectations, but also to real business-cycle theory, post-Keynesianism and the Austrian theory of business cycles. The material is enhanced by interviews with leading macroeconomists.

A solid introduction to macroeconomic schools of thought
This book provides a solid non mathematical and objective introduction to the main schools of macroeconomic thought. It is very well written and is an excellent starting point for anybody requiring a sound base of knowledge before delving deeper into a topic. I have used the book for this purpose in preparation for researching essays. The book also provides a comprehensive bibliography of all the original journals relevant to the topics covered. To the extent that the book sought to achieve that which I have lauded it for it deserves five stars.
