A Good Detective Story4
This book starts just just before Bruce Wayne first goes on the streets as Batman, why? I am not sure. It barely touches on it and gets straight in to the story at hand.
The story starts with Bruce being in Alaska, he loses his supplies and passes out. He then wakes up in the care of a small tribe, who saved him with the help of healing myth / ritual about how the bat got its abilty to fly. Bruce returns to Gotham to find some strange happenings involving strange cult human sacrifices. The story is unpredictable and that's what keeps it interesting.
While it doesn't leave you with a greater sense of any of the characters, it's an enjoyable read if you take it for what it is; a good detective mystery story.
