About the Author
I studied pre-medicine at The Johns Hopkins University and obtained my MD from The Oregon Health Sciences University. I sat the PLAB exam in 1994 and have since obtained the FRCS (in both general surgery and otolaryngology) and the DRCOG exams.

Terrible
I borrowed this book off a friend for the exam and am now questioning the friendship!

This book is terrible. Please do not buy this when there are much better, more accurate books avaliable.

There are spelling mistakes, conflicting answers and out of date information.

AVOID
I bought this book for last minute revision and I was terribly dissapointed by the number of spelling and technical errors in the book. I managed to pass despite using this book. Avoid this book unless you are really desparate.

essential reading for the DRCOG
For practice questions and to get a feel of the real DRCOG layout look no further than this book.Plenty MCQ's to really test all areas with good explainations of the answers along with EMQ examples with good pictures.I would say that with this book a DRCOG revision course is not needed ( and it's a lot cheaper!!)
