Customer Reviews
Can't recommend it
I regret wasting my time before the MRCP exam reading this book.
The book got one star in my rating just because there aren't many books on the market containing "best of five" questions and this is one of them.
Why the book is not worth the paper it is printed on:..Little in the way of explanations to the answers given. If you don't know, you'll have to look it up in other books wasting your time just when you DON'T have time to waste (in the final phases of your revision).Questions are repeated too often (example paper 1 T/F - the same questions twice in one "exam paper" - NO COMMENT)and concocted on the cheap (same question as in previous papers with slighly changed last sentence and different answer stems). Too much emphasis on surgery and gynaecology - nice to have a broad view, but I would not recommend this approach just before taking MRCP exam.
Conclusion: Save yourself the disappointment and get a better book than this one!
Poor quality
One of the worst revision books I've ever seen. Terrible question layout and grammar, and VERY little explanation of the answers. Interesting that the book - for MRCP - was written by somebody who doesn't even have the qualification!
Complete waste of money, especially with so many other excellent MCQ books out there.
