Enthralling account of Rommels battles in WWI.
As an avid reader of Field Marshall Erwin Rommel, I was delighted to obtain a copy of his book, Infantry Attacks. Written by Rommel with illustrations by Rommel, it allows an understanding of why Rommel was so successful in WWII. If only the Allied generals had read it before their defeats in North Africa! A book for those interested in Rommel, his battles of WWI or anyone interested in infantry tactics. I wouldn't be surprised if this book makes mandatory reading for infantry officer cadets!
Brilliant
A brilliant insight in to the mind of a young Erwin Rommel. He cut his teeth on the front line.
This combined with *Rommel Papers* is a priceless combination and a great historic purchase.
