Poker. It's a game of bluffs, gambles, victories and losses. A bit like life really. Francis, Charlie and Cupid meet each week to play the game. Francis and Cupid share a savage secret. And when Charlie finds out the truth, it's a gun he wants in his hands and not a stack of cards. Flush premieres at the Soho Theatre in the West End of London on 20 April 2004. It is directed by Bijan Sheibani, winner of a Peter Brook Empty Space Award in 2002.

A Royal Flush
This is one of the best plays I have ever come across. It’s syncopated yet slick narrative keeps the audience on their toes while never losing them and the original, psychologically fascinating characters grasp the reader from the very beginning.
The subject matter is not for the faint hearted but provides a challenge to both audience and actors which both will heartily enjoy as well as providing an insight into the concept of 21st century in the context of this newly emerging metrosexual world.
I wholeheartedly recommend this play to readers, directors and actors alike as a quick, pithy play with great momentum and great scope for development and utilisation of dramatic devices.
