This edition has now been superseded
A new edition of this was published this year (2000) under the title "Viking Warrior". Don't bother buying this one!
The main text & pictures are unchanged as far as I can see, but the French translation of the captions for the colour plates has gone, and the publishers have added a glossary, an index, a guide to some of the British battle sites mentioned, and a new cover design.
