Cycle for Life - what it says on the cover5
This is an excellent book that more than lives up to the product description. It is suitable for the novice contemplating the commute to work, right through to the moderately experienced cyclist. As the later, I found those elements relating to diet particularly helpful. It was also interesting to see the elements of training and cross training laid out in a way suitable for those of us trying to fit training around a busy work life. It is excellently produced, with many attractive and well placed pictures. It would make an excellent present for someone who is thinking of taking up cycling as a pastime, whether that be on a recreational or sporting basis.

It certainly is not an autobiography, but then it did not say that on the cover !

easy reading and helpful tips5
I purchased this book mainly to help put more hours in the saddle. This year I am taking part in several Sportive rides. I needed a guide to increase my time from my daily commute, to several hours at one time.

There is a great deal of information for the novice cyclist, for those with more cycling experience the most important chapter is the 8 week workouts. Taking you from 4 hours a week cycling in the first plan, through to several hours at a time in the final plan.

I found the advice, laid out in laymans terms and thoroughly enjoyed the read. If your goal is to begin cycling or transition to the next level this is worth the buy.

Superb book, very informative, well written and helpful5
I didn't know how much help this book was going to be when I first got it, but I have to say I think it is a brilliant book. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I've been cycling for about 5 years now, but wanted to improve my skills and participate in some Sportives and Time Trials. I found the information Nicole gave in this book a great help, I especially found the part on diet interesting.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is just starting out in the world of cycling or looking to advance their skills.
