A concise guide to the nMRCGP. There is practical guidance for exam preparation, important topics and useful learning tips. It prepares you for what to expect from this new method of examination.I clarfies various issues that may arrise while using the eportfolio and gives helpful hints to work your way through the COT's and CBD's.

Someone who knows what they are talking about
There is a real hunger and curiousity to know and understand more about this new licencing exam. The RCGP website gives the authoritative and most up-to-date information, but you need to know how to navigate and what you want to know to use it best. This book gives a great overview, informs you of the elements and their importance and guides you to "how to do it".

Not surprising as Bob Mortimer is an examiner on the old exam and an assessor for the new exam. He has inside knowledge and understanding of the assessments and how they work and fit together. The forward is by the president of the RCGP so also seems to have insider blessing and endorsement.

There are other publications being rushed out to exploit that hunger and curiousity, but look at their backgrounds and qualifications before lashing out on buying. At least this one is by someone who knows what they are talking about.
