This collection of graphics includes magazine and book designs, posters, typography, music, film and television and corporate graphics, packaging and signage. The work is organized into three sections, according to whether it operates essentially as a two-, three-, or four-dimensional graphic, and an introductory essay examines key themes and trends in the contemporary graphics scene. To enable each piece of work to speak for itself, the designer's identity is not placed alongside the work. A key refers the reader to a sticker at the back of the book. To impose an identity over the piece, the reader can find and place the relevant sticker, or alternatively leave the sticker sheets intact.
