About the Author
Ajay Ahuja is a Chartered Accountant who four years ago had a secure, well-paid position with one of the UK's most prestigious accountancy firms. Customer Reviews

A Very Poor Effort1
An impressive title and eye-catching front cover, this book certainly does appeal to those of us wanting to remove ourselves from the 'corporate life'. However, having spent all of two hours reading it from front to back, I must say that it's an absolute let down.

Ajay has clearly done very well for himself over the last 5 years by building up a strong portfolio of properties, as well as diversifying into other business ventures. Writing books however, is definitely not his strong point.

This particular book lacks any real clarity or purpose with the only added value being directly to the author's passive income (or royalties) column. If you are considering purchasing, think again. I suggest you have a look at any of the Rich Dad, Poor Dad series since they offer a much more detailed and cohesive insight into business start ups and leaving the rate race.

'7 Steps to Leaving the Rat Race' is a total waste of money.

Sent it back1
This is the first book I have sent back to Amazon. Very little information that you couldn't think of yourself. (e.g. "Eat home made sandwiches for lunch instead of buying them at the deli").
Worthless for what I wanted.

Life Changing5
After buying this book over 2 and a half years ago, I can honestly say that it gave me the inspiration and guidance to leave the rat race behind.

The author tells you exactly how it is, and makes it very easy to relate to your own situation. His words are almost a slap across the face and a plea to "wake up".

I have gone back to this book at several different times over this period and it has constantly given me new ideas and further motivation when it was needed.

Although not a book heavy on content, the 7 steps outlined in the book have led me to become very successful in not only leaving the rat race but staying out of it.
