Customer Reviews

Excellent!5
These are excellent short retellings of events and legends from British history. Unlike many legend-type books that rely on the pictures and have terrible text, these are written by an author who is very skilful in the use of language. Brilliant for reading aloud or alone. A short page after each story gives some historical background and comment on how much truth there is likely to be in the story.
