Customer Reviews

Excellent beginners book4
Ashtanga yoga is a sequence of postures that you move through fairly rapidly (compared to other yoga systems at least). This book is an excellent companion for when you are learning the series as it lets you see every single move of every posture, not just the end result. The publisher calls it flowmotion which kind of sums up the effect. There are better books on perfecting Ashtanga (David Swenson's practice manual is my favourite) but if you are just starting to learn or are looking for something to enable you to do at home what you do in class, this is an excellent book.
