English Law3
I am doing an Accounting and Business Systems degree and I found this book to be quite useful, especially the numerous case references it provides. These can be useful for revision as you can build up a list of example cases for specific topics. The major downside of this book is that it goes into too much detail and requires a lot of extensive reading to understand the topic in question. It also involves re-reading sections several times in order to understand it properly. This book is worth borrowing if you are studying a Law unit. If you are studying a Law degree this book is a must-buy. I studied a Law unit so can only give it 3 stars.

Excellent book5
I passed an examination in English law that was pitched at about 'A' level plus standard more than 25 years ago as part of an accountancy qualification and I then passed further examinations in company law and so on.

I enjoy blogging on various sites as a sort of hobby and I tend to cover a range of topics such as politics, philosophy, religion, books, films and several other subjects.

I have quite a large reference library at home and I have often found this book and many of the Oxford Dictionaries including the Oxford Dictionary of Law useful for checking basic facts.

When one takes blogging seriously it is surprising how useful it is to have a wide range of reference books, books on grammar, dictionaries and books of quotations at hand.

I have used this book on several occasions to check up on e.g. basic criminal law which isn't covered in accountancy examinations but touched on a subject I writing about on a website. I have also dipped into it from time to time for interest's sake alone.

Highly recommended.
