Customer Reviews

Adequate for Purpose5
Cavendish Law Cards, Tort Law, 2nd edition, is pocket sized, sturdily spiral bound, printed with readable type on slick heavy paper that does not bleed through with underlining, adequately comprehensive and informative for purpose, and highly convenient for serendipitous reference strolling or visiting the pub. Organized in the five major sections of Negligence, Occupier's Liability, Torts relating to land, General Defenses and Remedies, Law Cards provides basic, succinct parsimonious coverage on major tort law themes enhanced by diagrams for clarity. Certainly not a philosophical treatise, it does highlight major issues and of itself contains more information than one could put into a law exam. It is a good organizing source, particularly if read with a casebook wherein one can simultaneously read the extended cases from which the principles are excerpted. Certainly limited in purpose, but very utilitarian and well accomplished for the purpose of its construction.
