Editorial Reviews

Review
'Revised edition provides students with extracts from ninety documents, in their amended and updated form, which are usually mentioned in a course on international trade law. Includes statutes; statutory instruments; European Union materials; conventions; rules and model laws standard forms; and standard trading conditions. Contains material available as of April 1, 2003. Carr is reader in International Commercial Law at the University of Kent. Kidner is Professor of Law at the University of Wales.' Journal of Economic Literature, Vol 42, No. 3, September 2004.

From the Back Cover

Routledge-Cavendish Core Statutes provide a comprehensive series of essential statutory provisions for the core subjects and major options on the LLB or GDL.

Each book in the series

  • provides the precise wording of Acts of Parliament and is unnanotated, making it ideal for both course and exam use.
  • Is updated regularly to incorporate all of the latest legislation covered in most UK law syllabi
  • Features consolidated amendments, avoiding the need to cross-refer to amending legislation
  • contains both alphabetical and chronological contents listings and is fully indexed'

Statutes and Conventions was published by Cavendish in a third edition in 2003 and has sold 1743 copies.  Before it's inclusion in the Core Statutes series, it was priced at £39.99 and so I feel that this title can support a higher price than others in the series.

We must use our list of adopters from the previous edition to roll over users to the new edition and for marketing and promotional purposes.
