An interesting and enjoyable review of favourite hymns.
Most of us have a favourite hymn, one that we love to sing no matter how infrequently we attend church, synogogue etc.

This book is an absolute treasure of favourite hymns of well known and less well known characters.

It is interesting to see who likes what and why. Do you know for instance Tony Blair's favourite hymn and whether it still is after the WI conference!

Although most hymns included are from the Christian faith Judaism,Islam and otheres are also represented.

Each hymn is printed in full and the music printed to a few.

Personalities are varied and from all walks of life from Ronnie Barker to Lisa Potts and from Joanna Lumley to Margaret Thatcher although all political parties are represented. Not all persons included have a faith but all have a favourite hymn. Each hymn is accompanied by a full page black and white photograph of the contributer.

With profits going to charitiy this book is a must for the coffee table.
