Customer Reviews
An excellent book for a business student !
Im on a software engineering management course. This was recommended by our lecturer for the 'management' module. As usual as the book list goes around there are load groans rippling like waves around the room. However, it is a surprisingly interesting book. Bearing in mind that all we wanted to do really was write code, we actually became interested in the subject. Everyone on the course bought the book (unheard of!) and it became a must for the exams.
It gets over the basics and more with real examples and well tested concepts. The examples are about the biggest and best companies that everyone has heard of, making it feel easy to read.
Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Production, Management Strategy. Its all in there complete with criticism, discussion and advice on further reading.
