Perfect biscuits every time!
I took up baking as a hobby last year and this was one of the first books I purchased. I've tried out a third of the recipes in this book; the most notable so far being the chocolate coffee cream fancies, the peanut butter cookies, the coconut fortune cookies and the pistachio biscotti - all of which came out fantastic.

This book if one of many from the Australian Woman's Weekly and what I love about the series is that the recipes are very easy to follow and they really do work - as it says on the cover, they've been 'triple tested' before being published! The recipes are perfect for anyone including complete beginners as there are UK measurments for everything and there's a pictures for every recipe so you know how your biscuits should turn out. I have almost all the baking books from the series now and if you enjoy this book, I can highly recommend 'Simple Slices' and 'Cafe Cakes'.

perfect brownies everytime
I bought this book for a cake bake day at work. Having never baked anything in my life, I was not hopeful, however the peanut butter chocolate brownies turned out perfectly. The recipe was clear and simple, which was a certain advantage to a novice such as myself. Each recipe has a beautiful photograph, and it has encouraged me to try some more!

delicious
Having received this book through the post at a school where i am employed i was asked to look through it for the food technology teachers. We were very impressed with the recipes which were simple yet looked delicious and also with the way the book was presented with an index at the back explaining measurements equipment and etc.
As a school establishment we are looking into ordering more of the same series for use in the classroom in the future for the students to use.
