What a great book!
This book has made me really happy. After reading the first two chapters, I spent an afternoon sorting out my clothes and sent no less than 6 bags of stuff to the Oxfam shop. I then sorted everything according to the advice given and now life seems so much simpler and I am dressed better. I now know what my wardrobe lacks, so my next trip to the shops will be so easy, and I won't buy any mistakes.
The book is written in a geat, practical, 'lets get down to it', style, with lots of good humour.

...and save you a fortune in both fashion books AND in clothes you'll never wear! I've dumped a dozen other fashion books I owned since finding this one.I loved reading this book as a kind yet hilarious commentary on clothing ruts we get into and how we feel about our looks as we long to look wonderful in our 40's or beyond. The solution- learning how to dress to express your real self and feel gorgeous/sexy/powerful- was practical as well as inspiring and didn't assume you have a massive clothes budget.
An all round winner....I actually got compliments at the office when I'd put some of this into action! And you'll never wear a denim A-line skirt again.
How to love what you wear and wear what you love!
This book wasn't quite what I'd expected as it has no photos or glossy pictures. Instead the book is primarily text with some quirky line drawings. But I loved it! Its a great, relaxing, amusing read which helps you to organise your thoughts about how you dress as well as organising your wardrobe. If you're reaching your 40s and don't want to look like a teenager but want to resist looking "middle aged" this book is for you!
